For this month the discussion will be...

Eras and comebacks are a big part of kpop groups and kpop fandom. Is there a particular era and/or comeback by an artist that you like above all others? Why is it your favourite?

This round ends CLOSED!

Can I just confess that I've never paid attention to eras and comebacks………

I have been a (casual) K-pop fan for like half a year and the only comeback I can really remember is JUNIEL's because that seemed so drastic to me, but that wasn't my favourite or something. If I find a group or singer I like I just listen to all of their albums (well, at least the ones I can find) and watch some MVs and performances but the only differences between every comeback that I can spot are obvious things like "oh, now they're trying out the sexy concept" or "wow, they changed all their hairstyles", and even then I don't have much of an opinion on those. (Such a good K-pop fan I am.)

the only thing that heralds a comeback is when everyone changes their hairstyles (look at exo and their rainbow coloured hair)

wow this is such a loaded question. i don't think i have a favourite comeback/era overall - i generally enjoy comebacks and the different eras for different reasons! like i am incessantly fond of certain songs, or certain photoshoots, or even certain hairstyles and styling for each comeback. i don't think there's anything to dislike tbh. above all i think what catches my attention about comebacks is the concept and the related choreography - if the choreography and the concept isn't appealing to me, then i'm usually quite :/ about it.

BUT FOR THE SAKE OF DISCUSSION LET'S TALK ABOUT SHINEE. i think that styling wise i really liked ring ding dong for the fact that all of them had perfect hair. :( i was in love with their juliette comeback because of the photoshoot that they did for their romeo album! because PERFECT STYLING and the photoshoot really brought out the teenage/prince charming thing especially in the mv with krystal as juliet and minho as romeo. sighs wistfully. and i really enjoyed their dream girl comeback because the choreography with the mic stand was really really cool *-* but on the flipside, i didn't enjoy why so serious era because i didn't really feel the zombie concept. so. well.

The most memorable comeback for me was Super Junior's Sorry Sorry. It basically took them from a group nobody paid any attention to, to the huge idols they are today.

I definitely don't have a favorite D8 but I'll never forget the one I waited for most intensely! Battle's "Step by Step" I was on their site, on top of that count down everyday! I haven't yearned for a comeback more intensely since.

EXO's comeback was kind of agonizing ;-; it seemed like there were so many dates floating around, and it took for freaking ever for "Wolf" to come out.

I don't have a favorite era, but the first that comes to mind for me is Infinite's Destiny style, followed by VIXX's newest Only U! I feel like now I'd rather not know dates or anything like that until it's already out 8D

I really loved SNSD's Mr. Taxi era, for superficial reasons + the fact that I was obsessed with everything about that song for a really long time.

Honorable mention for SHINee's Japanese Lucifer era though, cause that was like the peak of my SHINee interest. Ahhhh memories
