MAMA Aftermath

When I first wrote up this update, it was when I was half-dead because I decided to stay up until 10 AM in the morning to stream the MAMA awards only for my internet to be a butt and make it lag so much that I just gave up on watching and relied on my Twitter and my friend to live blog/tweet what was going on. A bit frustrating but not bad since I was mostly watching for EXO anyways and the fandom got videos up ten minutes within them showing up so it all worked out~ Did anyone else watch the stream or was I the only crazy one? LOL

I then crashed at 10:30 AM and woke up at 4:30 PM only to be dragged out to celebrate my dad's birthday by going to dinner and now it's Saturday. I still feel kind of tired and blah and whatever (which is honestly why this update got prolonged a bit not only because I was waiting on some decks but also because I had to make one last minute deck) but here we go! Better a day late than never~

SURVEY RESPONSES
Kicking things off will be a little section about the responses you guys have sent in so far from the survey last week! I must say, I didn't expect you guys to say you loved so many parts of the TCG and I was really starting to worry that maybe some people weren't enjoying Dilly Dally as much because of the small player base we have and an even smaller amount of active players so it made me really happy and glad that you guys still like DD regardless.

A good portion of you brought up some good points that got Belle and I thinking and we will definitely be rolling out some of the suggestions you guys gave as well as making some changes to things like Idol Factory so it's a bit easier and not super time consuming to complete (because at the rate things are going, it could very well take someone a least half a year to unlock all their members which is quite long). As such, expect some announcements in the coming weeks/month as we start to plan things out and put them in motion!

Another thing some of you kept mentioning was questions about why we don't have more players. Most of you figured it out that it's likely because DD is a journal based TCG instead of the easier-to-track/participate-in website based TCGs which is what might turn off a lot of people (and I know this firsthand as I've read a good amount of people saying they may like a TCG but wouldn't join because it's not a website) so it got me thinking and I wanted to ask: Do you guys think there's something we can add to the TCG to make it appeal to TCG players who may prefer website TCGs instead?

I've noticed a few of you had said they didn't really know how journal based TCGs worked or something similar but after playing it for some time, you started to begin liking it and I feel like if other people knew this then they'd might want to give DD a shot! A player has suggested introducing a set of automatic website games and Belle suggested maybe offering a special bonus incentive to newer players so they don't feel like they're at a disadvantage to older players who've had more time to gather more cards (because I see some of you guys already heading towards level eight!!!) but any other ideas you guys can think of would help!


FUTURE PLANS
New Member Singles will start happening probably around the beginning of December! A post will go up then where players can fill out forms to have their new Member Singles created and will provide a bit more info on the new system.

New Star Point Prizes to be added! We're still figuring out what to add but thanks to the survey responses, we will be introducing new Star Point Prizes sometime in December.

Idol Factory tasks will be altered! Like mentioned above, the Idol Factory activity will have some alterations done to make the tasks less repetitive and give more of a variety of ways and options to unlock members. Hopefully this will make things less daunting and less time consuming in the long run to complete your group!


SHOOTING STAR
This week, Seohyun has chosen to grant Kiss's wish of 1 Extra Release Slot for the next release so everyone may take an ADDITIONAL card from the new decks below (so you can get a total of 11 cards instead of 10, not including extra benefits you may have or donation rewards)! No need for a coupon just comment with what you grabbed.


DECK RELEASE
Here come another 12 13 decks as voted by you guys! Grab the usual 10 cards and comment with what you took. If you donated any deck, you can grab an extra card from it and if you donated to the sp-costumes deck, go ahead and take all of the cards you donated! If you donated the master badge, you can grab any card from the deck.

Okay, this kind of turned out longer than I intended but oh well! I don't have anything else to add on this week so I'll finish this off with the usual reminders:

• Deck Creation 03 still has 10 SLOTS LEFT and since it's a new week, everyone can donate up to 2 images since we're nearing the end of the month.

• The Survey is still open until November 30th so go fill it out if you haven't, and make sure to comment on this post when you have so I can give you the reward.

• The Deck Making Application is still open so go and apply if you're interested! It'll stay open until November 30th as well unless we don't get enough applicants and therefore not enough deck makers then it may extend for a longer period of time.

• It's late but the Halloween Event Candy Shop is now open and ready to take your candies and give you prizes in return!
