Idol Factory: FAQ
Have any questions about the Idol Factory activity? Check the FAQ below and if you're inquiry has still not been answered, leave a comment below!
You will need to complete a set of the requirements for each member with that position in order to unlock it. Have 2 Vocalists? You'll need to master 6 general decks and max out monthly graphic donations twice, altogether. Have a Leader, Maknae, and Visual? You'll need to make a total of 150 trades to complete the "Make 50 Trades" tasks for each.
Are we allowed to double up decks for meeting Artist Collection and Idol Factory requirements?
For now, yes you can as the two are separate activities and we encourage players to participate in both! As long as the deck(s) you're using for one activity have not been used previously in that same activity, it's fine.
Do the artists I choose have to make sense as a fictional band?
Nope! It's a fictional band, after all so you can use whomever you'd like to! Of course, some players might pick members as if they were creating a real group and would consider all their strengths/talents but others will simply just pick their biases and both options would be allowed.
Can we use soloists in our groups or are we only limited to using existing group members?
Both are accepted! Feel free to use any soloists if you'd like or just members from existing groups or a mix of both.
If the Leader in my group doesn't have a solo general deck at the time of me applying, do I need to wait for it to be made before I can complete that task?
Yes. If the Leader doesn't have a solo deck, you'll need to donate it yourself or wait for someone else to and even then, you will have to wait for that deck to be released before you can complete that task! However, if we see that a solo deck needs to be released for an Idol Factory task, then we will definitely try to release it ASAP.
If the Maknae from my group is a soloist, how do I master a video deck from their "original group?"
Simple! Just master any video deck that your soloist/makenae has released.
Are we allowed to use the deck from the 'Master their Solo Deck' task for Leaders as apart of the 'Master 3 General Decks' task for Vocalists?
Sure, go ahead.
In the 'Win 10 Rounds of Screened Games' task for Rappers, do those 10 rounds have to be all from the same game?
Nope! The 10 rounds can be from a mix of any amount of screened games.
Can I use anything (ie. masteries, level ups, etc.) done before applying for my group for completing tasks to unlock members?
For any tasks that require you to master decks, make donations or participate in games then they must be completed after you've applied for your group and have been approved. However, you are allowed to use up to 2 previously mastered decks to count towards completing tasks and unlocking members. For any tasks that require you to level up, master member albums, or make trades then those can be copleted either before or after you've applied for your group and have been approved.
For the Visual, does the photoshoot deck we need to master have to be a solo shoot or can it be a group shoot including them?
A group photoshoot deck is fine as long as they are in it!
