quick question! For idol factory, do the idols have to be part of a group or could they be soloists that we can put into a group?

My group is so random right now! LOL I can't decide who to keep and who to kick out.

Yep, you can use soloists for your group as well! I forgot to note that any idol is allowed, whether they're apart of a group or not. ^^

LOL that's good tbh. I expected the groups made in this activity to be completely random!

So I know that deck donations have deck claim posts so it's not kosher to give you deck donations yet. BUT what about graphics? Do we need to wait for a post or something for those or once the new month rolls around, can we just donate them?

I realized that I should have asked questions before applying but OHS WELLS :x

1. leader - Master their Solo Deck
so my leader is geunsuk and obviously there is no deck for him. does that mean I have to wait for someone to donate/make the deck before I can work on this task? (I guess that means I can donate the images for this. whoots!)

2. dancer - Master 1 Member Album
ok this threw me off a little. one member album is one of the ps- prefix decks, right? like ps-aclass or ps-theclassic?

3. visual - Master 1 Photoshoot Deck that features them
this question will be like my first question as my visual is BoA and there isn't a photoshoot deck that features her...

4. maknae - Master 1 Video Deck from their original group
I'm assuming "their original group" would be the maknae member that is part of a group? however, my maknae is IU and she isn't part of any group. does that mean donating images for one of her videos?

LOL it's fine! That's what I'm here for: to answer questions!

1. Yes, you or someone else would have to donate his deck and wait for it to be made + released before you can work on completing that task!

2. The 1 Member Album is referring to the Member Albums you complete when you collect 10 Member Singles! I should probably rephrase that task LOL.

3. Like the answer for the first question, you or someone else would have to donate a photoshoot deck that features BoA and wait for it to made made + released as well.

4. Yes, that is correct. But since IU is a soloist, then just any video deck for a song by her would do!

OMG. I feel really silly right now. HOW COULD I NOT LINK MEMBER ALBUM AND MEMBER SINGLES x_x

one more! it was mentioned about small photoshoots where there are images that are less than 20. if that's the case (I was looking at BoA's one via the link poland posted) do I have to choose a photoshoot of her that has more images? (I always find image-finding the most tedious! heehee)

Hm, since our standard decks are 20 cards a piece there should be--at the very least--21 pictures in any deck donation (the 20 cards + a master badge). Anything less than that wouldn't work as it wouldn't fill out a complete deck so I'm going to say that yes, you should choose a photoshoot with more images but at least 21!

i'm sure you're tired of idol factory questions by now

1. All together with my cards, I have to master 9 ge- decks (since i have three vocalist cards). I also have to master my leader, ge-gyuri, when that gets made and come out. Would ge-gyuri be part of those 9 or is the leader ge-mastery separate from the 9 that I need to do?

2. By 10 game rounds (since I have a rapper card), does that mean 10 times playing the same game (ie Karaoke Time ten times) or 10 screened games in general (Karaoke Time + Group Battle + Artist Guess equaling 10)? I would assume the later since if it was the former it'd take almost a year to unlock BUT JUST TO BE SURE....

1. Yes, you can include ge-gyuri in those 9 ge- decks you need to master!

2. 10 screened games in general! So any combination of screened games would do.

On the idol factory page it says "Only after your form has been approved can you start to work on the tasks." Does that mean that any achievements, masteries, level ups etc. I got before I applied for a group won't count towards/can't be used for the tasks? I'm sorry if I missed this somehow… uwu"

Oh! When I wrote that I meant that it's only after you've been approved can you go and fill out forms to unlock a member if you've already completed tasks for that member as me and some other players have already started using things we've done before applying for an idol group. Does that make sense?

Question concerning star points! (Sorry if this is addressed somewhere!!)

So I know that it's implied with a lot of the rewards, especially the one time use and Mastery OR Level Up prizes, but is it possible to buy the same prize with star points more than once? Like the permanent ones and for example, buying one +2 Permanent Deck Donations and then buying another thus giving me +4 Perm Deck Donations and then so on and so on? Is there a limit on this, if it is possible?

Hm, Belle and I didn't think about this until we received your comment but after a discussion, we've decided that you can only buy a benefit once unless it's a one time use benefit, in which you can buy more than once to use.

However, there may be addition benefits that will be added in the future to compensate for players who want to spend a bit more SP to gain bigger/better prizes!

another question to tack on to kiss's last one! if we buy the +1 choice card for masteries (permanent) can we then buy the +1 choice card for level up (permanent) later?

Yes, you can! That was the intention when we set up that benefit. You just can't buy 2 of +1 choice card for masteries but you can buy 1 of +1 choice card with masteries and +1 choice card for level ups and have them both be permanent!

Hi! I have a question that pertains to the Idol Factory tasks! For the rapper cards it requires 10 rounds of screened games. Would that include the Halloween Event games since they were screened?

Also about mastering other players decks. When you unlock a card, are you able to trade it with other members cards, like a member single with unlimited copies, or are the idol factory cards put into the randomizer and if you get them, you're lucky?

Hello! Hm... I will say yes because I think I allowed this for Prejoin games as well.

Idol Factory cards, once you unlock them, work like member singles where you get unlimited copies of it! However, you can only trade type for type so say you unlock your 6th member (which would be the 06 card) then you can only trade it for another player's 6th member card.
